Newborn work is a two-person job.
One of us always has a hand on your baby. That is not a style choice — it is the reason a solo photographer has to put the camera down, and we never do.
Hands never leave
Posing is never done one-handed. One of us stays in contact with your baby for the whole session while the other works — you are never asked to be the assistant.
Baby-led, never rushed
Two to three hours with natural feeding and sleep breaks. We move at your baby's pace, not ours, and nothing is posed through a cry.
Days 5–14, held open
Reserve near your due date and we hold a window either side. Early arrivals are never a problem — that is what the hold is for.
One of us trained specifically for newborns, and we pose only within what a days-old spine and hips allow. Anything that looks precarious in a photograph is a composite of two safe frames — never a baby left unsupported.
Wraps, layers and props are cleaned between every single session. Studio held at 26–27°C so your baby stays warm and settled while undressed.
Always. Nothing happens out of your sight, and you can stop, feed, or hold your baby at any moment without asking.
If the session sits alongside a naming ceremony, a seemantham or a first rice, we already know the order things happen in and who needs to be in which frame. You will not be asked to pause and explain your own traditions.
From your first message to your finished gallery it is only ever the two of us. No second shooter, no rotating staff, no one you haven't met.
While you're still pregnant
Tell us your due date. We talk through what you want to remember, and hold a window around it.
Your baby arrives
Message us. We confirm a day inside the 5–14 window — early or late, the hold absorbs it.
The session
Two to three unhurried hours. We both photograph, and one camera is always rolling, so the same moment arrives twice. Feeds and settles whenever your baby asks.
You see them together
A private viewing of the photographs beside the film. Nothing is decided before this — you choose once you've seen what exists.
The keeping
Gallery, film, and — if you want it — a cast of the hand that will never be this size again.
A €150 reservation holds your window and comes off your collection. You decide nothing else until you have seen your gallery.
What if the baby comes early — or late?
Nothing breaks. We hold a window rather than a date, so the session moves with your baby. Message us when they arrive and we confirm a day inside days 5 to 14.
What if my baby cries the whole time?
Most do, at some point. That is why we book two to three hours for what is maybe forty minutes of photography — the rest is feeding, settling, and waiting. It has never once stopped a session.
Can siblings come?
Yes, and we photograph them first while they still have patience, then let them leave with whoever brought them.
Do we have to book while pregnant?
It's better. Days 5 to 14 is a narrow window and we take few sessions a month — reserving during pregnancy is how you get one.
